On Friday 29th October, we be made some changes to our Home Insurance webchat function on our website. We’re now be offering Home Insurance clients the option to make mid-term adjustments (MTA) to their policy through online chat.


MTAs are one of the top 3 reasons customers contact us and enabling customers to do this online through our website will make it easier and faster to get an instant answer to a question and makes changing policy details that much simpler!


Initially, this feature will only be available to Paymentshield Home Insurance customers who will be able to make coverage changes to their policy, update personal and contact details and have the option to add extras like Home Emergency.


New customer facing versions of the add-on scripts have been created which can be attached in the chat to inform customers of what’s covered and what’s not covered for the relevant add-ons. These have been placed in an easy to read one page document which will allow the customers to see what is covered.
